<Optical Coherence Tomography>
Application

- Time Domain OCT
- Spectral Domain OCT
- Swept Source OCT
- Full-Field OCT

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a fantastic tool that enables us to see the cross-sectional in-vivo real-time image of a living
tissue without any physical dissection. A working OCT system has been implemented for the first time in Korea by combining the
advanced technologies of optics (fiber and bulk) and electronics. We are designing an advanced all-fiber-based OCT system that can
give sub-micron resolution. Recently, bulk-type full-field OCT system having ~ 1 µm high resolution has developed and several
biological samples imaging are demonstrated. A femto-second laser and specialty fiber are considered as the tools enhancing the
resolution. ODT (Optical Doppler Tomography) and FD OCT (Fourier Domain OCT) are under consideration.
